The young Portmarnock Red Rox team finished their 2025 season in spectacular fashion, reeling off seven consecutive wins after dropping their opening game to a strong Mariners side. With a deep and balanced roster, the Red Rox found the winning formula that ultimately secured them the 2025 Little League Championship.
Despite being one of the youngest teams in the league, the Red Rox leaned heavily on outstanding pitching and cohesive team play throughout the season. Their ability to work together as a unit was a key factor in their impressive 7-1 record.
A core group of players, who have been playing together since their Coach Pitch days, provided crucial leadership for a number of newcomers in their first year of Little League. With four U12 Irish Baseball Academy players on the squad, the Red Rox benefited from both experience and strong fundamentals—especially in tight games against tough league rivals.
