Baseball Ireland has appointed Ryan Flynn as its first-ever Chief Executive Officer, marking a major milestone as the organisation transitions to a professionally managed national governing body.

An internationally respected baseball leader, Flynn brings extensive experience from senior roles in New Zealand, Guam, Australia, and the United States, including a decade as CEO of Baseball New Zealand. With deep Irish roots, his appointment represents both a professional step forward and a personal homecoming.

As CEO, Flynn will focus on growing grassroots participation, strengthening national teams, securing sustainable funding, and positioning Ireland as an emerging force in global baseball.
